Sci-Tech

Week 6 Sept. 28-Oct.2 -- This week we were asked to work on a house for our sci-tech course.  We were given an option of several houses that had environmental significance.  I chose the Marie Short house by Glen Murcutt in Kempsey, NSW, Australia.

After a long week of hand drafting construction details and drawings Monica and I decided to go to Iowa City to visit family for the weekend.  Of course that meant a stop at the Amana colonies where they were having their Oktoberfest celebration.  Who said you can't be a student and have fun as well?
